We will be doing the Bowl Trail as a Fun Run on Dec 14th. Meet at the Moapa Truck on I-15N 0900 roll @0930 (same place as Bitter Springs) We will then get back on the I-15N and go to the UTE exit.

About the Trail. Keep in mind that Tapper in the blue Colorado ZR2 made it thru with out any damage. The main trail is pretty smooth, rolling hills some are steep, nothing as steep as the hill climb at Bitter Springs. There are "go arounds" for the obstacles or difficult spots. As you go down some hills it starts right back up another hill so, some long base vehicles or trucks "may" drag the bumper and/or drag the under carriage as you crest top. We will stop at the Matterhorn Area where people can try out their abilities on some of the sand stone rocks if they like. From there we will head over the Bowl entrance; here everyone will have to use the "go around", but just the fact of being in the Bowl is really neat. once inside the bowl there is a large area for everyone to park and take in the scenery and have lunch. We will also stop by some old mines, not sure if it was talc or not, but they have huge openings.

Keep in mind; this is a fun run, not club sponsored...go at your own risk.

As with any trail ride it depends on the amount of people showing up that determines when we will be finished, but would suspect around 4 pm maybe and finish at the Glendale.

Question to Roy: I have a friend (Jr) and he and his wife would like to join us Saturday. They have a well equipped Jeep and are willing to pay the $5, or perhaps join, is this OK for this ride?
I have wheeled with them many times, they know what they are doing.

Not sure how often Roy checks in here. But, since this is a Fun Run, there is no charge for any guest that goes on this run. They can still choose to join the Club if they want.
