June's ride is coming up fast. Sunday, June 10, 2018 has been chosen. Sorry for the short notice but the sooner, the cooler. We will be going to Carpenter Canyon* via Lovell Canyon. We plan is to stop for lunch at Carpenter Canyon and we hope the elevation of around 6000' and shade trees will make for a comfortable lunch. We will continue on to Wallace Canyon for a quick stop before heading down to pavement just east of Pahrump.
We meet at 8 am on the SW side of the Valley at the Chevron where Highway 160 meets Highway 159:
https://goo.gl/maps/eLJ22UWasnv Driver's meeting at 8:15, roll at 8:30. If all goes well we should be back to pavement (near Pahrump) by 4 pm or so, BUT it certainly could be later if we have issues.
This ride is stock friendly but there will be some desert pin striping and there will be a lot of trail miles. Average street tires not recommended. We do recommend starting the ride with a full tank of fuel. All club rules are important of course, (
