My application is approved. So , meet at Prim at 8:30 roll at 9:00 . Meet in the back by the new gas pumps on the west side . It will be a long day so bring lunch, full tank of gas. we will stop at an old mine ,an old farm house, and the lava cliffs ,and the lava tubes: so bring a hat and a flashlight. Look forward to seeing you there. :D :D :D

Rex. Thanks for putting this together. Is there room for me to bring a guest/new member (and pay the $5)?

Haven't been out for a while. I probably have two years worth of dues owed.

I'll be there either in a green LJ or a black JK-8 (if the shop gets the axles done in time).

For folks who want to see what the lava tube is like, here's a video I took when we pre-ran this trip. It shows what's involved to get down into the tube. If you have claustrophobia, or poor balance, you may want to skip it.

Done this trail probably 6 or 7 times. Tons to see and really need multiple days to see all the good stuff. Weather should be awesome - have a good trip as this is one of my favorites.

I won't be able to do this run unless I figure out my XJ's problem. Seems to be transmission related. Anyone know a good transmission shop they'd like to recommend??? Email me at westburg@live.com. Have fun y'all.
