The Department of Wrenching
under the leadership of Ed Beaumont
and his deputy Duncan
is happy to announce

Saturday March 26, 2011

Ed's Magic 4x4 Garage.

Standard Backroaders Jeep party for maint, repair, inspection or installs. Please post what you would like to get done so we can prepare and budget time (ie. TJ full 4" lift aprox 3-4 hours). Services done on your vehicle will cost your share of doughnuts, coffee, pizza and refreshments for the crew (no alchohol).

This is self service plus. Owner is expected to wrench based on skill level and be responsible for vehicle. Please only bring needed specialty tools not available at Ed's magic garage to prevent mixing and loss of tools. Please show up with all parts and hardware for your project. If not sure about a project or tools ask the Backroader's Unofficial Master Mechanic (Ed).

Volunteer wrenchers are welcome.

As this is Ed's Private garage he has final say in all activity.

I agree that we have the tools. But having the technology, that might be a stretching of the truth. Motivation, well we definately need some motivation. Either way, we will stumble our way through it.   I should be there.

Thanks to everyone for the help in putting the new springs on D.D. today. Thanks ed and Dunc for the use of the driveway and garage. Good to get out and see everyone again.

:D We need to have more work parties, after saturdays party I found myself down right inspired! :D Sunday I pulled my carb, intake/exhaust manifold and valve cover to change their respective gaskets, while I had things apart I figured I'd spray a little paint under the hood, if only I'd been this motivated when I first bought this jeep  thanks for the inspiration, click the pick.
