| Post subject: | Midland Portable CB Antenna |
I went on the club run in January and saw several people had the midland portable cb along with a short flexible antenna. I found the cb without any trouble but I'm not sure about the antenna. Sadly, I forget the names of the folks that were using it but hopefully they will find their way here... What was the name of the antenna? Also, what range do you get out of it? Using the included portable cb antenna gives about 2 bars. Thanks! |

I believe Firestick antenna is supposed to be good. I went the other way, and got a whip antenna. They have the best range, and don't need to be tuned. You can also bend them down under the side-view mirror when going into a parking garage. Best of all, they make the jeep look like a full-sized remote-controlled toy.
