If anyone is interested, I have 3 factory Jeep radios in my garage.
One came out of our 99 TJ and is just AM/FM. The second, came out of our 03 TJ and is AM/FM w/cassette. The third is AM/FM w/CD. I bought it in 05 to replace the cassette unit that came in our 03. It came out of an 04 Rubicon and I bought it on ebay for $100.00. At the time, the Jeep dealer wanted $600.00 for the same one.
There is a difference in the trim around the face of the AM/FM. I think it will only fit a TJ through 2002. The others should fit a TJ from 2003 on. Don't know if these radios were used in other Jeeps or not. If anyone is interested, you can have any one or all of them.
