Hey Justin, still trying to find info on the 2M/440 links to the internet. I don't think it's IRLP but if and when you reply, pass on that info. We met up at the Ely run/BBQ and you had mentioned what it was but when you get this old, you tend to forget alot.  We both have the FT-60, its a good radio but can't compare with a 5/8 mag mount and 50 watts. Just did the mines run the past weekend, looked for ya. Joe |

http://www.echolink.org/download.htm EchoLink allows licensed Amateur Radio stations to connect to one another over the Internet. You can use EchoLink to connect your station (or your computer) over the Internet to other amateurs using the same software, and carry on a voice QSO. This greatly enhances the range and utility of mobile and portable VHF/UHF-FM stations, and also allows computer-equipped hams to access distant repeaters directly. You can access EchoLink either with a radio or a computer. If you are in range of an FM repeater or simplex station equipped with EchoLink, you can use DTMF commands from your radio to access the EchoLink network. If you are a licensed amateur with an Internet-connected PC, you can access EchoLink stations directly from your PC. I have not tried it yet

Don't want to put that software on the computer, its loaded up with too much stuff. Just want to access the repeaters with the radios. Someone that went on the mine run on the 16th in a Red 2 door Jeep was trying to tell me about it but time was running out for us and we had to get moving, he was on 440 and I think he was 440.60. Where can I get a list of repeaters that allow this? |

Two places I know of to get repeater info. is to go to LVRAC's website and look for the repeater list. Also go in person to A E S amateur electronic supply. On Polaris north of Tropicana, north of Tomkins, about the third building on the right. They have photo copies of the list. Scott. |

Thanks Scott, but I'm in Calif. Sort of a long drive to get a list. Just trying to talk with the guys down under again on 2M or 440. Might give AES a call and see if they know how to do it or get a list from them.Appreciate the help. Joe |

We have an open IRLP/ Echo link Repeater at 449.225 with a minus offset PL 77 tone feel free to use it! Not much traffic on it unless Dad KB7RRE is on the air. |
