Everyone had fun at H+B, despite a couple of problems. Geno broke down twice and Justin ended up on the wrong end of a tow strap twice. I think it was the newest curse in the club, "The Billmuda Triangle". :? All was good until getting ready for our little camp breakfast on Sunday morning. It seems that the Trail Cat didn't like having people in his house. In his fit of attitude, Smudgeon threw Shirley out of his house. What an ATTITUDE. Unfortunately, when Shirley fell from Gene's motorhome, she broke her wrist. We will be finding out on Monday when the surgery will happen. For now, she is doing well. Especially with the help of some good drugs. She is currently at home. I will post updates as we find out.

Shirley would like to thank everyone for their help during her time of crisis.

We had a GREAT time :D

The RUBI curse seems to be mechanical in nature, and the Billmuda triangle seems to be a field of NBMC behavioral influence  Said field can be magnified in both size and intinsity by the number of NBMC's within the field. The more the merrier  Resistance is Futile 8)
Warning, There is no known cure for NBMC :P

Get well soon Shirley

Hey Jamie,
I didn't realize who you were, a fellow backroader- I was running with you on both Friday and Saturday. I have a few pics of your rig coming up the v-crack. I was in the White Grand Cherokee - had a lot of fun and the ZJ did well.
I will get them posted sometime soon :D

Was that "Rock Bottom?" Don't think my TJ will make it through that yet but after I get my locker and rocker protection, I would love to give it a try! BTW, was that Paul and his YJ that I saw? He back up and running?

Here is the latest update on Shirley.

She had surgery today on her wrist. She is back home and resting. She has a follow-up visit at the doctor tommorrow. I wll pass on any info from that when I find out. I didn't get a chance to see the doctor today.

Day one Geno had a hole in a radiator hose that let go on the first obstacle  and managed to mangle the towbar mount on a sand dune, day cut short due to hose. Day two he managed to get his fuel line caught on a rock but finished the trail. More lift and rock rails? And yes I got stuck AGAIN  . Wouldn't be a Hump N Bump scenic run otherwise  .
