Because we are increasingly using GMRS radios on our runs, I'm aware that not everyone may have one. In the past we used CB radios, on channel #4. If we had outside radio traffic, we would often switch to CB channel #16 as a "backup". On our March Club run, we ran into outside radio traffic while on GMRS channel #16. I wanted to suggest we change to a different GMRS channel, but I knew not everyone would be able to change channels if they were using an Amateur, or (Ham), radio. With an Amateur radio, you need to tune the radio to the correct frequency for each GMRS channel. So we can change channels if needed in the future, I have listed the GMRS channels along with their frequencies. I hope this helps, John. 8)
