A friend of mine has a "lunchbox" locker and is wondering where the best place for it is. Any suggestions?

I put a Powertrax LOCK-RIGHT Locker in my YJ rear diff many years back and was very pleased. I kept up with the serious wheelers and never broke an axle. Back then I was in a cold climate so I did not want my steering compromised when icy or slick. Rear axle for me, but that's your call.

I like having the front open so steering not effected in tighter turns.
The rear locker in my 1st jeep was also a lunch box. My learning curve.
Climbed up and out of ravines/washes and could still steer into tight turns.
I hardly ever use the front locker now that I have a Rubicon.
Rear locker gets me up climbs and out of ravines/arroyos.
Lunch box lockers great place to start on upgrades.
