Hello, although the forum's email process isnt working, there are still several ways to get an email whenever someone posts on the forum. I thought I would provide the easiest way that I have found so far. The method below will check once a day to determine if a new post has been made. If it detects a new post, it will email you with a small summary of what it detected. 1. Go to http://www.followthatpage.com 2. In the "Page address" field, put "http://nevadabackroaders.com/phpbb3/" (without the quotes). 3. Put the email you want the website to use when a post occurs (your email). 4. It will then ask you to register (very easy). 5. Once you are registered, edit the details and change these values: Set Lines of context to "2" Under Block filter, Place this text in the From field --> " Forum Topics Posts Last post" Under Block filter, Place this text in the To field --> "Delete all board cookies | The team" Under Block filter, select "Scan only this block, skip rest of the page" 6. Save your settings and you are done. Step 5 is necessary, otherwise you will just get an email everyday even if no one posts because it will detect changes in the forum that happen without someone posting. |
