Clutch, Transmission, and TransferCase work on the 1985 4Runner Going to eventually need to do some work on my clutch. And since the transmission and transfer case will also be out, I was thinking of doing some work on them as well. I would like to: 1) replace clutch, resurface/replace flywheel, throw out bearing, and maybe the rear main seal 2) rebuild tranny (broken tooth on reverse gear) 3) lower 'crawl' gears for transfer case. Any recommendations on reputable auto repair shops that have done these kind of repairs/work? Thanks so very much. --Walter & Gloria |
