It is with a heavy heart that I must report that I received a call today from Wes (Club President). Pat McCarty passed away this morning, 9/20.

Pat is one of the 5 original founding members of the Nevada Backroaders. She is survived by her husband, Mac, daughter Maxine with husband Dave Lantz and other family members that I do not know. They are all founding members of the Club. Wes is the fifth member of the Club.

Services are pending. When I find out any info, I will pass it on here.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole McCarty family. It is a very sad day for the Nevada Backroaders.

This month's Club Run will be dedicated to the memory of Pat McCarty.

The blue Nevada sky is a little less bright now with the passing of a great person. Rest in Peace Pat, you will be missed.

On behalf of our family, thank you for your love and support during this difficult time. Just knowing you are around has helped us.
