Now that Darrell has parted ways with Ted Wiens, I need to find another good mechanic. Adams Driveshaft is good for some stuff, but they don't do everything.

Do you folks have any recommendations for typical maintenance stuff, like oil changes, tires, etc., as well as more complicated issues, and custom fabrication of items?

I have been referred to Hannah Rv Truck & Auto, Bobby Hannah, 702-306-0094, 5712 N. Torrey Pines Drive, LV. I am having a bunch of stuff done this week. My '07 Rubi has been running hot on long sustained hill climbs, oil drip from rear axle, brakes are soft, basically, 7 year old revitalization stuff. They were referred to me by a friend I trust. So far so good, with their timeliness and informational phone calls. They called me yesterday and filled me in on what they had found and we discussed the options. Cooling is so critical out here I believe I will be splurging and getting a new radiator and hoses. Those long inactive winters in a barn up north take their toll. I dropped it off Monday, when I get it back and test it I will let you know. I believe they will be my go to guys. I also have been told they are good with diesels so my Ram will have a doctor now also.

Okay, picked up red Jeep, looks and rides well, overall I am pleased. The big test will be on a long sustained climb I want to see the temp guage stay right in the middle. We did a lot of basic maintenance, brakes, hoses, radiator etc. About working on diesels, with further discussion, they do not claim to be strong with newer diesels. I believe that was what the referral person had said to me or I misunderstood. They are big on RV maintenance also. In fact, that's what they will be doing more of when they get their new shop with more space.
