Thought this photo was lost in cyberspace. I took it a few years ago in the Pioche area at around 6500 ft el. I found a den with several of these Great Basins but this one was the most distinct. I've never seen one with this coloring before. Now I have a GPS that will mark my photos with my location so I can remember where I was!

Thanks Dawn, Most people would say that's just a rattlesnake but I knew you would appreciate it's beauty like me.
