The water main from the meter up to my house has a nasty leak, and the pipe is being replaced. Thus, I had to dig up all my cacti that were in the way. That's no big deal - they're easy to replant. However, I'm only going to replant parts of them (so I have more room to put in new ones!) What all this means is that I have loads of free cactus for the taking, mostly of the prickly-pear variety. Cacti are very easy to grow, so if you're interested, or know someone who is, let me know! |
