Well I guess being my last injury was in June it was time for a new one. My body told my brain you need to learn crutches before you leave this great earth. So rt. knee torn meniscus, torn various ligaments and tendons, and the big "iliactibial band" tendon. The IT band goes from our hip bone under the knee cap to our tibia it feels very funny when this one is torn.

Well the following picture is for your enjoyment. :D

Well went to dr today to get some of the sutures removed and an update on the surgery being I have no idea what was said after surgery. Well I only tore the lateral aspect of the meniscus but ruptured everything else.
IT band, lateral collateral ligament, posterior crucuiate ligament and etc...

I try to do things right even if it is not an extreme sport. I guess I'M A wimp being I rode another 10mi to get off the trail the day I injured the knee.

for your enjoyment

Was just kidding Kelly. Looks like it hurt real bad.
I sprained my ankle a couple weeks ago at work but didn't want to lose time so I just kept working.
I hope you get better. 8)

Dave I knew you were kidding remember I am still under the influence of the pain pills (.my excuse)

On Friday when I went to the docs for postsurgical follow up I showed up with my crutches, my bicycling jersey, gloves and helmet on. when I signed in I said lets get this show on the road I have a ride to do. The office staff laughed and the nurse said Kelly you really are crazy, I just smiled.

I hope you don't decide to put a engine between 2 wheels.
Oh, that's right, you tried that already.

Get well soon.
