Nevada Backroaders

Today while sitting in line at McDonalds for a cup of coffee, I saw the "Cheap Jeep" of the KD-RADIO guys passing down the boulevard here in Winnemucca.

I recognized the car immediately - it's a mid-1960s Pontiac convertible stripped down and chopped for off road duty. These guys go on annual trips to various Nevada and California ghost towns with this car and they get it in some pretty dicey spots. I have a video given to me about a decade ago of their travels.

Didn't know if they or the car was still around, but today I got to see it for myself. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me to record the event.
