not many folks know about this program.
It takes a little creativity on your part to save some big bucks on your Elec bill.
I signed up for Time of Use program....it should save me money over the long run.
.06 KW/HR from 7 pm to 1pm <---- best part is use your AC at night sleep well
the bad part...
.29 KW/HR from 1pm to 7 pm <--- bad part is if you run lots of AC it will eat your
savings up in no time ( almost 3 times the normal charge)
I suggest you turn OFF all non essential electric things around your home.
Example Computers / Printers / Lights / Extra charging devices / Stereo / TV
unplug items or put them on a plug strip for ease of use.
the good news:
Sept 1st to June 1st the rate remains at .06 KW/HReveryone else is
.11 KW /HRNV Energy does give you a guaranty you WILL NOT spend more money in a 12 month
period then you did the last years billing cycle. If you spent more on this program
they will refund you the difference.
It`s a win win in my humble opinion.
