Not sure if anyone else has seen this issue, but when I am home, I am blocked from viewing the forum.
It bans me because of my comcast IP.

Not sure if someone can fix it so I can get back into here from home.

I am currently in Bakersfield for training with Chevron.
I retired from the Navy on March 26th.

So, now I have grown up and moved into the oil/gas industry.

Buy Chevron gas to help my stock options...

Hey Todd. Congrats on your retirement. Can you can find out what IP your using that is banned? If I know the IP, I can get it fixed for you.

Thanks for all you did for us while in the Navy. Nowif you can only keep the price of gas from going up.

sorry todd i probably did it. a while back we had several spam bots using comcast ip's from cali and i got pissed and just banned a big block of them. get either myself or bob the ip from home and one of us will hunt it down and un-ban the string.

congrats on the retirement and new gig and like bob said thanks for all those years you spent in uncle sams yacht club takeing care of us here at home.

Brad and I unbanned a long string of Comcast IP's. Hopefully this will take care of the problem. Maybe the next time you talk to Larissa, she can try the website real quick to see if it works. If not, we will need to know your IP so we can go hunting the ban list for it.

after bob un-banned a HUGE string of comcast ip's i got bored and went looking and found a couple of short strings that got missed. i un-banned them so now there shouldn't be any comcast ip in the u.s. banned. the new version of phpbb is making spam-bots a thing of the past so un-banning these ips shouldn't cause us any troubles. I HOPE. so let us know if everything works.

Thanks for the kind words on the retirement.

Now I have grown up and working for Chevron.
I know nothing of the cost of producing the gas we burn in our rigs.

I do know how we get oil out of the ground though.

i found ip addy 98.192.*, which is a wildcard for any numbers following the *, and un-banned it. i couldn't find any other 98.192. anything else on the list so you should be good to go. if not i have a last resort, clearing ALL the banned ip addys from the list and starting with a blank page. with the new phpbb we're running the spambots are almost a thing of the past so that may not be a bad thing. anyway, let me know what happens next time you try to view the site.

I can guarantee you aren't blocked anymore. Bob, and I helped a little, managed to clear the entire banned ip list.
