Nevada Backroaders

Did anyone here know this guy? Michael Cook from Pahrump? I know this is more than a week old, but I just saw it on the Archaeology.org site,

Anyone know his story?

he's one of several people that have been caught and delt with in the last couple years. i don't know of him personally but if i'd have come across him while he was doing his deed he wouldn't have made it to a grand jury or any jury for that matter.

Re-located from my beloved Mojave to Texas. Where did all the mountains go???

I've hiked Sloan canyon many times over the past 20 years and I've seen the damage increase as people have taken souvenirs, or otherwise destroyed those petroglyphs. And it ticks me off.
I don't know how they're going to protect Sloan seeing as more master planned sprawl encroaches.
