Nevada Backroaders

Forecast - snow. This morning's observation? Sunny. So I called a buddy and said "let's go hunting.

So we went out about 50 miles NE of my house near the semi-ghost of Midas, NV in western Elko County. Looking for snowshoe hares. Because they're big and "good eatin'!"

The snow was about 3' deep on the level, but we picked a sunny slope where the white bunnies might be feeding due to the sun exposed ground. Found no bunnies, but got some good cardio excersize, put 160 miles of dirt and mud road 4x4 travel, and got my Tacoma repainted a more appropriate mudball brown.
