Wes has spoken to Jean Bales and wanted me to update everyone. She told him that there will be an article/obit in the Sunday Jan. 3rd R-J regarding Dickie. There will be a memorial service for him on Saturday Jan. 9th at Palm Mortuary at Jones & Oakey. The time should be in the article and as soon as I get it I will post it here.

Showing up as a club sounds good to me. Maybe meet at the Blue Ox Tavern/Burlington Coat Factory (Sahara & Jones) @ 12:15. Roll @ 12:30. 8)

I spoke to Jean and she told me she wants Saturday to be a celebration of Dickie's life. Therefore the wearing of black is up to you but she said she isn't. And she's asked me to speak at the service but I will try to keep it short and light-hearted.
