Hi all,
So I heard that my brother in law wants to get me a rear smittybuilt bumper. He is looking at one with d shackels a 2" receiver and swing away tire carrier that will hold up to a 37" tire.

I told my brother in law I would ask if :
Anyone owns a smittybuilt bumper, and are you happy with it?

I have that bumper, but mine doesn't have the D rings. I have a rear tow hook so I opted to save the Fifty bucks and not get the D rings. All in all the bumper has been ok. It was easy to install. It rattles a little bit but some RTV has kept it quiet. A plastic piece that keeps the tire carrier closed broke in half. A call to Smittybuilt got me a replacement piece for free. Best part about the bumper is the price....$299
