The neighbor behind the wash was shooting at a cat on my fence missed and shot 2 of my windows i told him if he shoots 1 more time i was going to shoot back. Called the cops they said if they did not see him shooting they could not do anything. So I said if I shoot back with my gun there is nothing they could do, they said if I shoot I would go to jail. Now that makes no sence to me he can shoot at my house and there's nothing they can do but if I shoot I go to jail. Dj sorry to hear about your cat hope it gets better.

The kids behind me were shooting at birds in the trees in my yard one day. I was lenient at first till they started hitting my air conditioner. I was a kid once, so I asked them to stop. They didn't. They finally hit a dove and killed it. I called Metro and they came out and told the officer what happened. I was asked if I wanted to press charges or anything and I told him just talking to them might do the trick. He did and everything has been fine, so far.

BTW I told the cop if I really wanted to get at them, I'd just call the NDOW on them for shooting a game bird out of season with no license and the wrong weapon. That'd be a nice fine.

My wife's cats stay inside, but if one of my dogs ever got shot while out, it be on the evening news.

At my daughters work the other day, ( she works at a vet's office, Banfield) somebody doused a Pit bull with gas and set him on fire, he was just a puppy, he lived!

Don't describe the pond scum who did this as a 'neighbor'. Neighbor implies a fellow member of a local community with a common interest and goal: Involvment in making said community a better place to be. This one celled organism who shot the cat, would have been ousted from any community once upon a time.

He is blind in his left eye, but is doing just fine otherwise. I filed suit against the Jerk last week for the vet bills of $1000. I go to court on March 23.
