For a variety of reasons, I'm thinking about getting a hard top. It seems that the two big companies are Best Tops and Rally Tops. Any opinions on which is better? Are there other companies out there I should consider?

Dawn,

I got a factory top off of Craigs List for only $800. If you look around you can get a factory one for similar money. The factory tops come with rear wiper, washer and defrost you wont get from an aftermarket top. Since your Jeep didn't come with a hard top, for about $200 you can get the factory wiring harness to convert to the hardtop switches and rear washer pump. Installation was relatively simple, and the factory top can't be matched for fit and features.

That's just my $.02

Travis

Yeah, what Phydeaux said. I would look around for a factory top before I'd spend the money on a new hard top. Maybe you'll get lucky and find one local, or at least close by so you can pick it up. I couldn't imagine the cost to ship something that large and heavy. I'm sure it's a lot.

All that depends on if a hard top is really what you want. Good luck!!
