Hey does anyone know of a jeep club in AZ. I have a BFF in Glendale AZ and we want to do some off roading, Flagstaff, Sedona, Prescott area.

Thanks

1. Chino Valley to Jerome "the back way," via Perkinsville Loop. Great bar in Jerome, frequented by Costume Bikers, with nice view out the back. Haunted hotel.

2. From Sedona, go up Schnebley Hill Road. See the "Shake and Bake" jeeps and all the stuff you see in movies and magazine pics of Sedona.

3. South from Williams, go up Bill Williams Mountain. Come back down. Continue south on that road to Sycamore Canyon. Lovely country. Go to Jerome or Chino Valley via that route.

4. From Paulden, pick up the Big Chino Wash road just north of the RR overpass. You can run that farther west than you'll ever care to.

5. Cherry Road.

6. Oak Creek Canyon is a little burned up, and all paved, but still scenic.

Going from LV to PHX, best way to start the trip is to get onto Route 66 in Kingman and run through Peach Springs to Seligman, then rejoin I-40 east of Seligman. Potty and burger stops in Seligman. Last time we were on 66, the prairie dogs were thick as thieves on the North side of the road, having some sort of prairie dog hoedown.

If you elect to take 93 instead of 66, you can cut off and run onto Prescott the back way. Arizona 97, marked Bagdad (spelling is correct).

All the above are Stock and Harley friendly. Schnebley Hill Road will beat you up a little, but clearance for stock rigs is maintained.

Boocoo roads/trails around Phoenix.
