For those of you who will be joining us for meals at H&B, Friday and Saturday dinners will be potluck. Standard rules apply. Bring your favorite thing to BBQ ans a side dish or dessert. On Sunday, we will do our community breakfast again. Please post what you will bring for breakfast.

I will do scrambled eggs.

NOTE: You do not have to camp out there to have dinner or breakfast with us.

Out of curiosity. Where you guys camp, are there any amenities for a camp fire? Either dig a hole, fire pit, everything done on a BBQ? Just wondering, in case we can stay over for dinner Saturday, I'd be interested in making dutch oven chicken and potatoes. I use briquets, but don't want to have an issue with not being to have an open fire.

I spoke to George today and put in the request for spaces for this club.

accommodate the request.

i'm gonna jump in here only because i've "been there done that" the last 6 years. if i'm correct they're talking about dinners for thursday and friday nights and breakfast sunday morning. saturday nights dinner is included in your registration for hump & bump and provided by vegas valley. the camping area is right at base camp, aka rocky's pad, in the logandale trails area. there's a huge area that will be covered in rv's and vehicles from thursday until sunday. open fires are no problem as long as the winds aren't blowing strong. bob and the group try to get an area where they can get everyone close together with a common area kind of in the center. at least that's how it's worked in years past. 8)

This year we are doing our own dinner on Saturday night instead of having the meal that is provided by VV4W. Everyone is welcome to join us even if you are not going to camp.

Yeah, what she said. Image

So as long as our group gets a camping spot with a ring, I'd be okay. That's cool, I can double check Friday after the runs.

You know where the gravel lot is (the place where all the rental atv's are staged), that is where basecamp is. We will be located on that lot somewhere. While there are no pre-built fire rings in that lot, you can arrange the rocks and make one. We always cook on a wood fire, unless like Brad said about the wind being too strong. Brad is right about the BBQ put on by VV4W. But after last years dinner, all that were in attendance agreed to do our own this year. We normally do a potluck dinner. Just bring your favorite thing to BBQ and a side dish or dessert to pass around (this is what I consider "standard rules".

Shirley is right that we are doing the potluck thing both Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday is our community breakfast. It is hard to say if Thursday night is going to be a potluck dinner because of not knowing whenn people will get there. But, I know the BBQ grate will be available for those who wish to use it.

As Shirley said even if your not camping with us, you are more than welcome to join us. Right now, I know of 13 people for dinner, that is including Gary & Karen.

Please post up if you are joining us for dinner and which night you will be there.

Here is the list I already have:

Bob & Shirley - 3 nights
Ed - 3 nights
Geno & Coral - 3 nights
Todd - 3 nights
John & Chris - Fri. and Sat. night
Rex & Shirley - 3 nights
Beth - Thurs. night maybe Fri.
GeoJeep Tom - Sat. night
Mac - 3 nights
Justin & Angie - 3 nights
JJ - 3 nights

I'll be staying at the Best western in Overton, so I'll be attending Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
