Hey y'all! I'm up here in Alaska for the next few weeks and wanted to drop a line to say hello and let you know how wonderful the weather is. It's a balmy 67 right now. Definitely beats the Hundred and Hell I just left down there in Vegas! :D

Anyway, I'm here for a few weeks (work related) and just wanted to say hi. I hope I can get some time off and rent a Jeep to do a run here in the local area. I'll definitely take pics if I get out.

Take care,

JT

Good to hear from you JT. I'd almost consider the Alaskan climate, but I'm crazy...I love the heat!!! Image

Enjoy the temps and I hope you get out wheelin'. I'll be looking for some pics. That is some beautiful country up there that's for sure. Image

Trade ya. One of these days I'll get to Alaska and I'd like to do it in a Jeep and a kayak. Have fun there.

Oh, I have you both beat... 130+ everyday, mosquitoes that carry deadly diseases at night. All in a country where the people refer to me as an infidel. Ok, so maybe I lose

Hey, Andy: can you get any pork rinds in that neighborhood?

My last trip to The Gulf (2004, Kuwait), we had to go down to Dubai to get relaxed enough to relax.

At least we could get pork rinds on Diego Garcia...
