ok by now you're all noticeing that jc and i turned on personal avatars for everyone. some of you are web savvy and quickly put up your own avatar and others are going to ask, how do i do that? a quick lesson in avatar creation. 1) pick the picture you want to use and re-size it to no more then 100x100 pixels. 2) upload the resized picture to a photo hosting site like photobucket.com or such. 3) the photo host should give you a url for that photo so copy it. 4) go to your profile here on our site and scroll down to the avatar control panel. 5) copy the url from the host site into the box labeled "link to off site avatar" and hit submit. 6) tada!  you should have your own avatar.
if any of this is beyond your computer ability then e-mail me the photo you want to use and i'll resize it for you, upload it to my photobucket account, and link your profile to the avatar. ain't i a nice guy?
