Well, the Air Force strikes agian. After I get back, I will have about four months before I have to report to my new duty location. I have recived orders to Osan Air Base in the Republic of South Korea. Sheila has not gotten orders as of yet. So as it sits right now she will be here for the year that I am there.

Talk about bad, in the seven years we have been married, we have been seperated about half due to military commitments. On top of that, I have to leave all of my friends behind. This sucks.

Well that sucks! I'm surprised the USAF doesn't have a Married Couples Program. Although not a gaurantee in the Army I was married 18 of a 20 year career to two different women and was always assigned within 75 miles of each other, nearly always on the same base.

The AF does have a married couples program called "Joint Spouse." We are on Joint Spouse in Nevada... at least when I am not deployed. But it comes down to the needs of the Air Force come first. Such was the case when shortly after getting married and applying for Joint Spouse, she was assigned to Mtn. Home, Idaho. and I was assigned to Spangdahlem, Germany just to have her come to Germany a year later. Seems to me that the AF could have saved a bunch of money just by approving a Joint Spouse assignment right off the bat.

If I had done that I wouldn't be getting my current retirement check after 20 years. Nor would I of met my wife who as of last month is getting her retirement check as well.

I did say "with all do respect" before I called him almost every four letter word under the sun. :D Maybe calling him the biggest @#$$%# ^$%# I have ever seen was a bad idea?

I think it was the double $$ in the middle that did it. Don't you think that was a bit over board? I mean, wow, I wouldn't even call you that. :D :P :D

This is the last time I take advice from a movie!!! In "Talladega Nights," they say that if you say "with all due respect," you can't get in trouble for what you say. They even go so far as to tell us that it is in the Geneva Convention. Unfortunatly it is not true.

Thankfully, one month here is down and just three more to go of my four month sentence. There is a bright side though. I am writing a couple of articles for MoabJeeper. Keep your eyes peeled for "Dreamin' of Wheelin" and a humorous Hummer test drive article. I am almost done with the latter.

See you in the dirt soon!
