I'm about to hit 80k on my TJ.

was just wondering how long I can expect the starter, alternator, water pump, fuel pump, etc. to last before going.

not that I'm having issues or anything, just preventive.

No warnings, or very little warning. No preventative maintenance other than replacing belts and hoses. Have a few hundred bucks stashes in your dresser or in the form of a CC for the inevitable.

You can't predict when a part is going to wear out. You can do preventative maintance. Change your fluids regularly. Oil every 3,000 miles. About 30,000 miles, Trans, Transfercase,Diffs, Antifreeze. New plugs every 30,000 miles. Check your belts. New air cleaner every other oil change, sooner if you go offroading in dusty conditions.
Nothing lasts forever (except my marriage) :roll:
