not sure on exact location... i have run that whole trail many times.
the "S" turn is about 1/2 the way from the I-15 UTE exit

Is the forementioend obstacle on the I-15 Ute Exit side or the other end of the trail(The Bowl Side)? Thanks |

the bowl trail lies east of I15 and west of the logandale trails area. if you look at a map of the area you'll see california ridge and weiser ridge and an area called the bowl, the trail runs north/south between the ridges into the bowl. the trail head can be reached from either the ute exit off I15 or from logandale trails area via mine canyon. the s turn is one of the obsticles along the way to the bowl from the trail head. approx lat/lon for the s turn is N36*34.49' & W114*35.15' hope this helps. |
