has anyone heard if wheeler is open over the top yet? i'm guessing that after last weeks warm temps it should be a go but want to see if anyone knows for sure.

usually it gets a good bit of snow near the summit and has been impassable in winters past. i'm guessing it didn't this year but i've been known to guess wrong in the past when it comes to trails through the mountains.

Wheeler did get a bit of snow over the top but it has long since melted off. I am not sure what it is like after the storm yesterday. It was in cloud cover while on my way to work today so I assume it is still precipitating up that way. |
