Hello, fellow wheelers...

For May's club run, Jack will be leading us on Alamo Road on the 27th. People that are familiar with this road, will remember that it starts out as if you were going on Mormon Wells Road. After you leave the Wildlife Refuge, you immediately come to a tee in the road. Gong right will take you to Mormon Wells and going left it becomes Alamo Road and ends up at... you guessed it, that bustling metropolis, Alamo. While on our journey, we will be passing a dry lake bed and some sand dunes, in case someone wants to play. :D

We will meet at the Wildlife Refuge on Corn Creek Road at 9:00 and roll at 9:30. Corn Creek Road is North of Las Vegas on Hwy 95, a couple of miles North of the Snow Mountain exit. This run is very club friendly, but if anyone has any questions, please ask.
Hope to see you there.

It will be a long day. The lunch site will not have shade, so bring shade if you want it. Make sure you start the trail with a full tank of fuel! Hopefully the flowers and cactuses will still be blooming above 3500' feet elevation. Be advised, with a start time of 9:30, we will not be getting to the end of the trail in Alamo, NV until about 4pm at the earliest, and it is a long ride home after airing up.

Do you say cacti?
Cacti Vs Cactuses - Which Is The Correct Plural Usage
Is it Cactuses or Cacti? Cacti is the Latin plural of cactus, and for English speakers is a more popular usage. Cactuses is the English plural, and is also completely acceptable to use. Dictionaries list both as a correct form, leaving it up to the user which they prefer.
