Good day to you all...

For the April Club run, Dan Baker will be leading us around the Three Corners area for some exploring. For those who are not familiar with this area, it's North of Mesquite, where Nevada, Arizona & Utah meet. I've been through that area many times, but not to wheel. I don't know what it's like, but I've been informed this run is not too difficult and so should be considered "club friendly" :D.

We will meet at the Flying J truck stop just off of exit 118 in Mesquite at 9:00 and roll at 9:30. For those not familiar with how to get to Mesquite, simply take I-15 North for about 90 miles, then watch for exit 118. This will be a long day, so you may want to get a good night's sleep. There are also Motels & Hotels in Mesquite, if you want to stay over. If anyone has any questions, or needs help, just let me know. Hope to see you there, John 8)

Damn! That's two months in a row that I forgot to list the date. :oops: I don't know, guess I'm getting old.

Anyway... the date will be the 29th, which is the last Saturday of the month.

Hey everyone, this is Dan Barker. Pre ran the trail today and unfortunately there is a portion of it right off Flat Top Mesa that is no longer passable. So I'd like to run the planned trail backwards and omit the Flat Top Mesa portion. Doing so will change the meeting location, hopefully not causing too many headaches. I'd like to now meet at the Shell station in Logandale. From there we'll head up through Overton to the Double Negative...then North from there. Please pass the word about the meet location change...same date and time. BTW, we're not doing Three Corners this trip.

I saw Dan's post and just wanted to make sure that everyone planning on attending his run on the 29th are aware of the change of meeting location. Due to conditions of the trail, he will be running the trail in reverse, so the new meet location is now the Shell station in Logandale. The meeting time will still be the same, 9:00am.
