right off the top i want to apologize to the club & friends of the club for this mix up. as trail boss i should have realized the e-mail i sent yesterday about the run for february 25th not being full size/long wheel base friendly meant that the run could not be an official club run, it has to be a fun run. our once a month official club runs have to fit into the "box" created by the founders of the nevada backrioaders of being friendly to all 4 wheel drive vehicles and this run doesn't. i blew it. i've spoken to phil and the run is still on but it will now be a "fun run" that rates a level 2 and is not full size/long wheel base/h1 hummer friendly. if any one that owns one of the above vehicles has taken days off work and still want to go wheeling i will volunteer to take them on a different run on the 25th that is full size/long wheelbase/h1 friendly. once again i'm sorry for the mess up and i hope this old dog can learn from this and not have it happen again. |
