Post subject:  Back Road to Christmas Tree Pass
March run will be The Back Road to Christmas Tree Pass. Due to my work schedule the run will be held on a SUNDAY (March 19, 2017) Sorry for the shock but things do evolve. Several things to see: a few old cabins and mines, and old ranch, and we may take a look at the old Loran Station. Depends on the pre run which the date and time will be posted soon. Meet in Search Light at the Chevron / McDonalds at 0900. Leave at 0930. Hope to see you there!

The Pre run went very well. Found one small part that won't be used, but the rest is fine. Have to rate this run a 2.5 due to one spot that may be a little tricky but very doable. I thank every one who showed for the pre run. I had a great time and I think everyone else did too! Hope to see you all on the 19th, 0900 in Searchlight at the McDonalds / Chevron. Remember: Its a SUNDAY!

Got my air tank back today from Tyco Simplex and Tom did a wonderful job! Now I'll be able to air up and down on my own! Looking forward to trying it on the March Run! 8)

We were thinking of bringing a different vehicle for this adventure instead of the 4Runner.

2015 Toyota RAV4 A-Wheel-Drive.

We have driven Christmas Tree Pass previously with this RAV4 with no issues. But not being able to go on the ore-run, we are unsure if this would be a good match for the RAV4.

Any thoughts?
