For September, we will be doing Mormon Wells Road as a night run on the 17th. We will also have a barbeque up at the campground, so bring whatever you want to grill and drink. :D We will meet at the wildlife preserve on Corn Creek Road off of Hwy 95 north at 4:00pm and roll at 4:30pm. If anyone has any questions, or needs directions, let me know.

I hope to see you there.

hello john - I am a new member (#450) - just a couple questions: (1) will my 2015 Tacoma 4x4 4dr be able to handle this trip, or do I have to invest in a Rubicon ? (2) is this an overnight camping at the campground ? - I live in Tucson AZ but spend some time occassionally at the MDHCA at Goffs CA - I hope to be able to participate in this or one of the future trips - thanks - homme

Since I'm here, I can answer your question. All of the club runs are stock friendly, meaning the highest difficulty rating being a two and one half on a 5 scale rating. I currently have a Jeep Rubicon, but a lot of trails with the club with aTacoma Off-Road. Since you Taco is 4wd, you shouldn't have any issues. Since this a club run it won't be an over nighter. However if you should want to camp over night ,you certainly may.

Hello, Wow, we love visiting the Tucson area, I lived there 1979-82 and have a sister living there. I do not want to get this thread too far of course but do you 4-wheel in the Tucson area? I bought an AZ Trail book and hope to visit this winter.

Mormon Wells is a very nice ride but we will be unable to attend. Have fun!

We plan on being there. Can you give directions to the Corn Creek meeting place? We'll probably be coming from Mt. Charleston, Kyle Canyon Rd. Also, do people normally bring food to share? Is there a grill or do we bring our own? We are looking forward to meeting you!

Me and the Blazer won't be able to make this one unfortunately. Just returned from my Moab trip, and me and the truck need some rest I think.

Hope you guys have a great time!

OK... To get to Corn Creek Road, leave Las Vegas and head North on Hwy 95 like you're going to Beatty. When you get to the Snow Mountain exit, you only have a few more miles to go. Corn Creek Rd will be on your right and there is actually a street sign to watch for. The Wildlife Preserve is about a mile and a half down Corn Creek Rd, on the left side. Just look for the other Jeeps. As for grills... We will be bringing 2 of our own, you can too if you want. We are just bringing burgers and dogs for ourselves. I hope that helps.

John

Finally have a job with Saturdays off.
Invited my neighbor Dion and his family, they have a Jeep and a 4x4 truck and want to not wheel alone.
Smart guy.
So, plan on meeting up with the group and a new soon to be member.
Bringing his grill and BBQ stuff.
Fire restrictions I think this time of year.
Will bring brauts and fixings. See ya at 4pm.

Sorry won't be able to make it. Christopher has to work and haven't got my jeep back yet; they had to replace frame because left and right frame rails were offset. I told them I will not accept anything less than perfect, it's taking them awhile.
