Join us for our annual weekend in White Pine County. There will be several runs on Friday and Saturday. Not sure yet if there will be a run on Sunday. But, I have heard rumor about a possible train robbery by the Ghostriders of Old Ely on Sunday.

Thursday night, there will be a Meet & Greet dinner at Geno's house in Ruth NV. Friday and Saturday night dinners will also be held at Geno's house. All three dinners are paid for by the Nevada Backroaders. Just bring your chairs and whatever drinks you like. Ruth is a small town approximately 5 miles West of Ely on HWY 50. You can drive around the whole town in about 5 minutes. Just look for the house that has several RV's and 4X4's in the front yard.

Please RSVP to Geno and myself. This is so we know how much food to get.

RSVP at NevadaBackroaders@cox.net and jeeptrailcat5440@yahoo.com

Hope to see everyone there.

Plan on going. Looking forward to seeing the group from Vegas. A few runs ago, there was talk about doing some
exploring a day or so either before the Ely runs or after. Any information about this??

Tammy and I are looking forward to this weekend. For many years this has conflicted with my racing season. This will be our first time to go to ely with the club. We are anticipating a lot of fun.

I took a look at the weather up in Ely, NV tonight. We are a little below average, so I thought Ely might be also. They are predicting a low of 71 instead of 78 here in LV. In Ely they are saying the low tonight will be 34 ! ! ! I am really looking forward to it, the average low will be just fine.

Kelly, Gretamae the Dog, and I would love to be there. However, Kelly's health won't allow it this year. Looking forward to next year.

Be safe and have fun, everyone.

See you in the dirt.

My fellow off roaders; its said to say I'm not going to be able to make it this year. Everyone was OK. Someone decided their red light was more important than my green light. They ran a red light side swiped and bounced off the front of my jeep and spun (360) out of control for 327 feet further down the road. My jeep stood its ground and collected a hood ornament. The other vehicle was destroyed!

Glad everyone was OK. Bummer that you are going to miss the weekend. You could always take Chris's Jeep.
