Things look good for us three. Just did a quick run to test Greta to see how she is. See you there.

Hello, I bought a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee a few months ago and just finished fixing it up. The jeep is completely stock for now, but it has quadra-drive (i.e. 4x4).

Is it ok if I join you guys on this run with my daughter and a friend? I have a rear recovery point and strap. Should I bring anything else besides a cooler with food and drink (and the $5 newbie fee)?

Thanks!

Hi mike, everybody's welcome. Looking forward to meeting you. I'm a longtime member but split my time between nevada and idaho. I haven't been down for a run since spring so I'm sure there'll be new faces for me to meet too. As far as equipment goes, just bring what you have for now. Any type of cb radio you can beg or borrow would be the best to have so you don't miss out on all the trail talk. See you Saturday !

Hi Mike...

My name is John and I'm the Trail boss for the club. I'm also the chief cook & bottle washer, complaint department, etc. and I'm looking forward to meeting you Saturday. Steve was right, come on out and run what you have. A CB radio is a good idea, so you can keep up on what's going on. If you don't have one, the club has a loaner you can borrow for the run.

You should be self sufficient with your own tools, etc., but if you should have any problems, most of us will trip over each other to help and get you running again. Also we NEVER leave anyone on the trail. I believe you talked about bringing a cooler... and that's fine, just as long as you bring enough for everyone.

I will have a waiver for you to sign and a $5.00 donation fee prior to the run. You will also have the opportunity to join the club if you like. See you Saturday.

Thanks, looking forward to meeting all of you tomorrow, too. I picked up a CB and mag mount antenna at Frys tonight. So, I should be good with the CB.

Do you know around what time we will be finished? Just curious how much food to bring.

Thanks again for everyone's help. Made it home OK, and will get the new ones on Friday. Thanks, Rex, for leading a great run. We are all tired, dusty, and happy.
