Shirley and I would like to do March's club run . March the 23rd. Meet at Primm , behind Buffalo Bills, by the roller coaster,at 9:00 roll at 9:30. We usually meet at Whiskey Petes but that is all under construction. We are going to the turquoise mine plus 4 or 5 other mines in the area ,plus Copper world smelter. Bring lunch, It will be an all day run. The trail is stock friendly, and p/u friendly. See you there.Rex :D :D :D

Can't make this one either - doing a camping run in the Arizona Strip that weekend. Gonna hit up Grand Gulch Mine, Tassi Springs and Whitmore.

Have fun guys - maybe someday I will make it back out with you guys.

We are considering making this our first run with the club. We are set up with an F150 crew cab with the off road package and it already has some lovely desert pin striping from other off road adventures. :)

My wife and I have 7 and 9 year old daughters. We were wondering if the runs are generally family friendly environments and we were wondering if "all day" means more like 6 hours or more like 12 hours? I understand the length of the trip is going to depend on the what type of drivers show up, so I was just looking more for a ballpark idea.

The club runs are always family friendly. We have several members who bring their children with them. They'll have a great time. The runs are usually about 6 hours. Bring some snacks for the kids on the trail, and a lunch. Most club runs are done by 4 or 4:30.

Awww, I just found out that I have a conflict, and won't be able to go. Glad I went on the pre-run!

Would like to go on this run. Did it 2 years ago. I am assuming, like 2 years ago,
that the off road part will start at Halloran Springs (not summit) off ramp of the 15.
Assume the group would be there at about 10 am. Coming from So. Cal. it saves
60 miles or so of not having to back track to off road start. If this is not correct,
please let me know. Thanks.

Pretty good timing as it turns out. My brother and his wife from Alaska leave on the 22d to go back. See you all in Primm. :P :o

Wow, really??? How long has it been Dave?? Reading some of your FB posts, I think you really need to get in the dirt which equals a day of therapy. Relieve some of that stress you seem to be having lately. It might do the body good.

Well Joe it has been awhile. What would really relieve that stress is if I could drag that person through the desert behind the Jeep and then drop him off in one of the Mines. A day in the Dirt and getting rid of the trash in on shot. Priceless.

Unfortunately, a neice's birthday party is going to interfere with us making this run. :(

Maybe another time.
