Chris and I would like to lead the February run to Gold Butte. :D We like this run, but haven't done it for a couple of years. We would also like to check out an area called Little Finland. We've wanted to go, but just haven't made it there yet. Gold Butte is stock friendly, but don't know about Little Finland. After the pre-run, we'll have more information. If anyone has been to Little Finland or knows the area, I would appreciate your input. Don't have a date yet, but it will probably be in the first two weeks of the month.

We will be staying in Mesquite for the run. There are plenty of places to stay or camp, or you can make it a long day and drive back that evening if you wish.

OK... Meet at the Terrible's just East of The Casablanca on Mesquite Blvd. Meet at 8:00, roll at 8:30. If anyone has any questions, let me know. Hope to see you there.

PLEASE take plenty of garbage bags! Every time we go, we haul out bags of garbage and expended ammo from the town site.

OK...

We're going to make it the 9th of February. :D I hope that works out for everyone. Since Gold Butte is a long run and having never been to Little Finland, I'll set the meet time and location when I know more. We expect to do the pre-run after the New Year.

Dawn, I hope you can make it... I will be depending on you to point out all of the "Mojave-Desert" variety of plants and flowers.

I should be able to make it. As for naming things, just make something up, and sound like you know what you're talking about. Works for me. 8)

Have this on my calendar. Only reason I would not go is if the weather is really bad.
Plan on staying in Logandale/Overland at the 50's style motel in town.
Stayed there before, old, retro, clean, and friendly community.
Since I'm coming from So. Cal. would be interested in a second
day of wheeling, Sunday, in Logandale Trail area, or.....
