Meet at gas station (westside of hwy) at the 1-15/Jean exit.
Meeting time: 8:30AM
Roll out: 9AM

Should be an easy trail. Maybe 1.5-2 rated.

After the run, if anyone is interested, some of us will be coming back to town by way of Mt. Potosi. This part is rated a little more difficult than a Club Run. This is optional run.

This optional part over Mt Potosi, how would it compare to the Feb club run?

Don't know. I did not make it to the Feb run. All I will say is that it will probably be more than Club Run standards.

I was on the trail on the back side of Mt Potosi in January and if I remember correctly, it was stock friendly. I don't recall anything that I wouldn't take my stock Grand through. No obstacles, just the normal wear and tear of the trails from slight washed out areas to rocky parts, but nothing hard. It's a fun trail and if you get a chance to do it after the Club Run, you might want to try it. Your call of course.

We'll miss this one. Suzie won't get her walking boot for a couple of weeks so probably best to stay home.

We had a lot of fun. The extra trip over Mt Potosi was awesome. Any chance anyone has the gps files for either trail?

Thanks for a great day Bob and Shirley. So glad to see our members from the North - Geno, Coral & Phil! The optional run over Potosi was a blast! I didn't get too many photos on this one, too busy driving. Again, I am having trouble getting my pic's to rotate in Webshots, will keep trying.....Chris

Bob and Shirley,

Thanks for leading the March club run. We had a great time admiring the natural art on tile type stone, and especially going over Mt. Potosi. It was a treat seeing the herd of sheep at the lunch spot.

See all next time.

Here's a link of the few pictures I was able to capture during this outing.
