August 6th: Meet at the Corn Creek Field Station at 7:00pm, roll out at 7:30. We'll head up Mormon Well Road, through Peakaboo Canyon, to the campground at the high point of the road, and have "lunch" there. Then, folks can stay and camp if they want, head back the way we came, or be adventurous and continue on down the road to Route 93.

The road is graded every now and then, so it shouldn't be any more than a 1.5. For some reason that I've never been able to fathom, however, this road has the magical (or demonic?) property of looking rather smooth, but feeling very bumpy. Airing down helps A LOT on this road, but 4wd probably won't even be necessary.

It's a neat road, and for those who've never seen it, the campground is quite impressive for a little spot way back up in the middle of nowhere.

Is there a date set for this run?

Oh, doesn't that just figure I'd forget to post the day. It's posted now. August 6th. I know it's the weekend after Ely, but what the hey. It works best for me.

sounds like fun. I rode that a few times on the enduro.
Will I need extra lights for a night run?

Nope, no extra lights needed. You might want a flashlight for any pit stops you need to make...
