My wife is having difficulty getting the time off. She's working on it though. But as of right now we're 50 / 50!

Looks good for us. Wife gets off work at 5am Saturday morning. Should be plenty of time to get there for the 9am Roll Out. There will be 3 of us and we're still in for burgers.

Also we have a friend named Eric with a newly acquired Jeep who will be bringing it out to meet the club. He is awaiting admin approval before he can post in here but would like me to mention there are 3 of them and they'd like to be added to the burger list as well. :D

Hi all Current issue of Nevada Magazine has a good profile on the Hard Luck Castle. Not as good as Rex's though. See you Fri. Frank

Rex, is the meet up spot going to be alongside the highway like prior runs from Beatty?

No. I put on the web site at the campground at Death Valley Inn. There is more room there and it is only 2 minutes to where we usually meet. And , my luck , thay built a large parking area at the Stagecoach Inn, but since I put Death Valley Inn on the origional post I must stick with it. So, meet in the front of the Death Valley Inn. Thay have restrooms there. I am calling the Sheriff with the count I have as of today so please I must cut it off here. We are talking about making this an annual run since it is so cool. So if you miss this time there will be another. 8) :D Rex PS: Ask the sheriff about the ghosts. Also, the sheriff went to cooking school at In and Out and I think his burger and fries are better.

Hello Rex, is the cut off just for the food or the entire run?

Thanks Rick

Hey all, Name is Eric, and Gus mentioned myself and my kids would be joining you all for this fun outing. Hoping we got in early enough for the cutoff, but if not I understand and will work on other meal options. See ya Saturday morning.

Bring your own lunch because we will be on the trail at that time. The cutoff was for both because the hardluck mine tour can only take so many people and if we get too many he will divide us into groups and we will never get down the road. I guess you can come but please no more . Eric, I included you in the count. Rex. PS : If we have enough time we will go to the rockart and that trail is a 2. or close to a 2.5.

Great run, Rex!
We had an incredible time! The Castle was amazing, the trails were fun, the weather was beautiful... not to mention great company and an awesome Saloon in the middle of nowhere with good food and some cold ones to top off the day. It was like icing on the cake! OH... and there WAS cake! I'm not even going to mention the Apple Pie.

this run was unbelievable.
hard luck castle and gold point were some of the best reasons why nevada is what it is.
an open invitation to bring it on.
you have to see these places to believe it.
rex, the bar is set really high.
so glad i made this run.
still sorting thru the pictures.
glad chris and barb were there to back this up.
one camera is not enough.
