Hoping we will be timing this for good blooms. If the run gets too big we may split into groups this time.

looking forward to this one as no camera person to babysit.
by the by, while we were waiting for the video shoot last year at the narrows in the HOT sun, an suv driver came up and asked what the delay was. i explained there was a video clip being filmed for a cable station.
the guy asked me about the grateful dead spare tire cover, seems that he went to high school with jerry garcia.
his family had a home a block from my dad's home in the excelsior district in san fran.
we shared old times, memories of the city by the bay.
very small world stuff in death valley.
lets see what this road trip brings.

yes you do. the trail head starts in nevada just a few miles west of beatty off of state route 374. while in the dirt you do cross the state line, one of the few places along the cali-nevada border with no casino :) , into california.

Barring and personal schedule changes our family is planning on attending and will pay the club dues before/during the run. I saw the start 9am roll time, what is the ETA on return?

based on past trips over titus and a stop at rhyolite you should be back in beatty around 5pm or so.

If I can manage to make this run, is tent camping available with the RV's, or only motel rooms, oh and if I don't have my jeep together, will my Ranger be O.K.? Hope to make it :D ,preferably in the jeep :wink: .
