We broke the D35 in Moab and Adam's built and installed a new rear axle for us and now I get to replace some steering parts. Anyway, we'll make this run if all goes well.

Does everyone know where this Shell Station is but me or am I blind and don't see the directions?

Take I-15 towards California. Exit at Jean, turn right. It is the gas station that was in front of the now missing Nevada Landing Hotel. We will probably by in the dirt lot across the road from the gas station. More room.

As you come into Jean The Shell Station is on the right , toward Goodsprings, just 500 ft off of 15. Rex

this is actually on the back side of devil's. picture rocks is a deposit of shale that has been stood up on end and is slowly breaking apart. if you check the past club runs forum you may find pictures from the 2 or 3 other times the club has been out there.

I'd love to make this one.

Rex, do you have an estimate for a return time? Or are there early bail out points?

We're going to the Rebel football game that night and hosting a big tailgate party beforehand, so kind of have to be there for it. Otherwise there will be a lot of angry, hungry people with no beer. LOL

You can bail at any time. Easy. There will be a lot of angry people if you bail with the food and beer. All though you cannot drink on a club run . Same as on any State highway. Rex :shock:

Thanks Rex... but we're not going to be able to make the run after all. Something came up and we have to make a last minute trip to Long Beach on the 16th coming back the morning of the 17th. You guys be sure to all have fun!

I don't think I'll be able to make it.

I have a lot of stuff going on this month with people in town and whatnot, so I don't think I'll be able to take the time off work.
