will "Lighting " be included on this night run ?

This sounds like a story I really need to hear!

long long time ago.....on a NVBackroaders night run
there was some lighting and stormy moments.

on the way home on lake shore road my TJ with Airock took a purdy good hit
the bolt scared the beeeeegeeeeeeeeeebies outta me and my oldest kid
we heard a loud bang and saw a super bright white light.

the lighting blew out the controller for my Airock and several of my rock lights under the Jeep got hit
they looked like they were burnt on the inside...no signs of damage on the outside.

there was a white XJ behind me...they saw it happen

Thanks Bob. Was remembering you told me something like that, while I was thinking of what I would get to eat at the Iron Skillet. (Was beginning to think that sentence would never end.) Good thing I was not chewing gum. Ya i'm 8)

See y'all there barring the unforseen.

Reminder: this run is rated a "2". Any 4 wheel drive vehicle should be able to get through without a problem.

I'd really like to make it to this one, we had a great time on this run last year. But you guys scheduled it on a UFC fight night. :D Everyone have a great run!

I was really looking forward to this run but between the wedding next week, with family coming to town, and prepping the race bike for Bonneville unfortunately we cannot go. :( You guys have fun and we will catch you next time.

FYI:
If anyone is interested Elisabeth and I will be celebrating after our wedding Saturday the 15th at 9PM at Hogs and Heifers on 3rd street between Stewart and Ogden across from the Lady Luck Casino (which is closed) a block and a half from Freemont street.

Thanks Beth you did an excellent job. I had a really good time as well as my friends. Can't not remember the last time I was still awake at 4am! The weather was awesome!
Again thank you.

thank you beth. you did good on your first outing as trail leader. it was great getting some dirt time. hope i didn't talk everyone's ears off but i can't shut up when i'm on bitter springs, i think i'd talk to myself if i ran it alone. 8)
