Nevada Backroaders

Well, the time has come to get ready for the Nevada Backroaders Second Annual Mormon Well Clean-Up!
The date is September 12, 2009. This corresponds with the Carl Garner Federal Lands Clean-up Day. Not too sure who old Carl G is, but I plan to find out by D-Day.
Meet at the Corn Creek Office at 0800. Start at O830. This will be the official Backroaders September run. I will be leading, but if any of you remember the last official clean-up, there will be several co-leaders.

I plan on camping at the summit. Any one care to join me?

I'm not stuck, I'm providing recovery training opportunities!

We will be there for this run. Right now also plan to camp, now that we have a tent. Will bring the pickup instead of the jeep. Gotta have some creature comforts - can't fit everything in the jeep.

will plan on BBQ and camp fire time after clean up.
maybe we should have a plan on a meal plan so we all can not have 5 tubs of coleslaw, etc.
i'll donate to a pot luck, either main or side.
i know there is a dessert goddess lurking...

We'd love to be there but that's the weekend of annual Boy Scout camping trip to Zion.

Camping sounds fun I'm in.

I guess that for anyone that is camping or staying for dinner it will be the usual Backroaders potluck - bring your own favorite for the grill and a dish to share. We will be bringing dessert, to be cooked in the dutch oven. Can also bring some grillin beans. Not sure about breakfast in the AM Sunday - fend for yourself or community breakfast??? Chris

A web site if anyone gots one. oh pictures or links to pictures would be cool. sorry really busy lately with getting a new job so this is very last minute for us as this is the first i have check this site in 2 or 3 weeks. we will not be camping as much as we would like to.

Take Hwy 95 north from town. You will see a sign that says "Corn Creek" turn right. Follow the gravel road to the Visitor/Ranger station. We will be on CH 4 on the radio.
